One Remarkable Vision
The Aesthetics Institute was born from a shared vision. Two brothers. Two surgical disciplines. One belief: that true aesthetic transformation goes beyond a single procedure. It demands expertise across every dimension of how you look, how you feel, and how you carry yourself in the world. As a plastic surgeon and a hair transplant surgeon, we spent years watching patients navigate a fragmented landscape moving from clinic to clinic, practitioner to practitioner, piecing together their journey without a single space that truly held it all. We knew there had to be a better way. So we built it.
This is our story — two brothers, one shared vision, and a single space built to hold the whole aesthetic journey. Our story is rooted in Cape Town.
Dr Azzaam Najjaar
Dr Azzaam Najjaar graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2006. It was during his undergraduate surgical training that he discovered a deep and enduring passion for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — one that has guided every step of his career and continues to drive his commitment to delivering exceptional care to each and every patient he treats.
In 2019, he successfully completed the Fellowship board examination in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (FC Plast Surg). In 2020, he was awarded a Master of Medicine (MMed) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the University of Cape Town (UCT), achieving distinction in his dissertation.
Since entering private practice, Dr Najjaar has developed a particular interest in aesthetic breast surgery and body contouring — areas where surgical skill and an eye for natural, harmonious results make a meaningful difference in his patients’ lives. Believing that his patients deserve nothing less than the very best, he regularly travels to spend time with and learn from renowned surgeons in his field, bringing those insights and refinements directly back to his practice and the patients he serves.

Dr. Bassaam Najjaar – After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Najjaar pursued advanced training in Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and non-surgical hair loss solutions, combining evidence-based practice with a genuine eye for artistry and detail.
His client-centric approach ensures every patient receives a carefully tailored treatment plan, one designed not only to restore hair, but to restore confidence and achieve natural-looking, long-lasting results that suit each individual’s unique features and goals.
With a strong background in general medicine and an unwavering commitment to innovation, Dr. Najjaar is actively involved in shaping the future of hair restoration in South Africa, staying closely attuned to advances in technique and technology within the field.
He is also a driving force behind the upcoming Hair Restoration Society of South Africa, working to elevate industry standards through collaboration, ongoing education, and a firm commitment to ethical practice across the profession.
